Orange Trail Mix is an intergenerational guided and educational hike of South Mountain and surrounding areas with our tour guide Mike Brick from West Orange and a variety of friends from the Environmental Center, Conservancy, Recycling Center and more. If you can't make the hike this month, no worries, we're planning to bring residents and organizations from the City of Orange to these natural sites throughout the summer. This is an opportunity for seniors, youth, and everyone in between to experience a beautiful space and learn its history.
Participants will be able to learn about land preservation, natural water flow and the importance of keeping our rivers clean, the natural species of plants and animals of the region, and the overall value of having a preserved sight so close and accessible to everyone.
